G U M T R E E  0 1

In Australia we have this amazing resource called gumtree, a trading post where you can search for almost anything and narrow it down to your location. I return to a few specific searches often, one being local wood. I struck it lucky when a listing appeared from a gentlemen down the road who had cleared some trees on his property.

Reflecting back I'm struck by the power of community, of re-using materials to re-purpose and create new value. I hope that by returning to these principles I'll find myself on a solid path of creative longevity.
